Connect Your Shopify Website to Agent & LLM Analytics

Use the JavaScript tag to connect your Shopify website's static pages. Please contact us if you need help.
Shopify Features Are Limited
Shopify doesn't yet allow access to the server-side information needed to track crawlers and scrapers. However, you'll still see visits from AI agents and humans referred by LLMs. Choose a different way to connect your website if possible.
Step 1: Copy Your JavaScript Tag
- Navigate to the Projects page
- Select your project
- Click Settings
- Copy your JavaScript tag
Step 2: Paste It Into Your Store's HTML
- Open your store's Shopify dashboard
- Click Online Store in the side bar, and select Themes
- Click on the ••• button for your current theme (next to Customize), and select Edit code
- Under layout in the side bar, select theme.liquid
- Paste your JavaScript Tag directly above the
</head>tag - Click Save in the top right
Step 3: Test Your Integration
- Navigate to the Projects page
- Select your project
- Click Settings
- Click Send a Test Visit
- Click Realtime
If your website is correctly connected, you should see visits from the Dark Visitor agent in the realtime timeline within a few seconds.
